Summary:
I have attended Chemeketa Community College for the last 2 years. Before I attended Chemeketa I worked with my Dad in his shop for 1 1/2 years. I have been working in the Automotive Field 3 years. While going to Chemeketa I started my own mobile automotive repair business. I know how to research parts, and prices, for different vehicles and stop at nothing to find the correct part for the vehicle. I have experience in working on HVAC systems, Brakes, Steering and Suspension Systems, Engine Repair and Rebuild, Transmission R&R, and have replaced parts on vehicles with new OEM or aftermarket parts. I am very organized and I keep my work area clean. I take oral, as well as written, orders very well. I have excellent customer service when it comes to dealing with customers, whether they're upset or not liking the situation. I am respectful, hardworking and a good team player. I have very good communication skills. I am analytical, a good problem solver, and mechanically inclined.

Summary of skills used:
I own my own business called Jordan's Auto Repair. I communicate with customers about their vehicles and the issues that they are having. I diagnose the vehicles issues by using procedures from AllData or Shop Key. After I complete the diagnosis, I call the customer to communicate that I have found the issue. I then inform them that I got price quotes for the part(s) that their car will need, and what the cost of labor will be. I then get the part from the auto parts store and install it on the vehicle. I write recipes for every job that I do so my customer has record of the work that I have done for them.
